A guided design preview

Discover Cue Design

From timeless ebony to a cue made unmistakably yours.

A splice is one designed face of the butt. Every cue starts with four Black Ebony splices; 6, 8 and 12 Splices describe the total construction after the selected woods are added.

Models & Design Explained

Special Single Shaft

Plain Black

4 Black Ebony splices Every design begins with four Black Ebony splices: one on each of the butt’s four faces at the transition from shaft to butt. With no additional decorative wood, this traditional 4-splice foundation is called Plain Black.

Spectre

12 Splices

4 Middle Splices A 12 Splices design is built as 4 Black Ebony + 4 Middle + 4 Last Splices. Here, Golden Figured forms the four Middle Splices, placing one selected-wood face around each side of the butt.

Spectre

12 Splices

4 Last Splices Closer to the logo, Purple Heart forms four Last Splices, again one on each face. Together with the 4 Black Ebony foundation and 4 Golden Figured Middle Splices, this completes the full 12-splice construction.

Single Shaft

6 Splices

1 Middle Splice A 6 Splices design is built as 4 Black Ebony + 1 Middle + 1 Last Splice. Unlike the wraparound designs, both selected woods appear only on the front face. White Burl forms the single Middle Splice.

Single Shaft

6 Splices

1 Last Splice Black Tiger forms the single front-facing Last Splice toward the logo. Added to 4 Black Ebony and the 1 White Burl Middle Splice, it completes the 6-splice construction while the sides and back remain mostly black.

Limited S

8 Splices

4 Last Splices An 8 Splices design is built as 4 Black Ebony + 4 Last Splices. Grey Wood forms one Last Splice on each of the butt’s four faces, creating one continuous design around the cue. A fine White Burl veneer is optional at no extra cost.
